Who do you guys like the most that review clubs on YouTube? We have a new hybrid (full set 1-SW - 12 clubs available - both RH and LH) coming out that has...

JMO, but why would any company want to put such clubs in the hands of testers that are low single digit handicaps? They are never going to use such things, and they also can hit any club well. Of course the clubs will work for them, of course they should not find fault with them. They can only give an 'opinion' as to how they may work/play for those they are designed for.

Skip the middle man, the low 'cappers of YouTube....put them in the hands of players that might use them/buy them.

btw...did anyone besides me notice the low ball flights from Sneaky's video??? Wrong tester....again!!

He started out with "need to score +2 or better" or the clubs would fail. WTF is that?
Repeated the same later on. This after saying he 'forgot" his wedges at home. No matter, as his chipping form is good for chopping wood. Hope he isn't reviewing wedges. LOL

I was out right then and there, and anybody with half a brain should have been as well.
The guy is arrogant (no surprise sneaky likes him) and is too score oriented to be considered legit whatsoever. The way he "agonizes" over close shots and especially over his putts tells me all I need to know about him. Throwing in a " that was a bomb" after his driver on a 525 yard Par 5, then laying up to around 100 yards with a 3 hybrid, then going "a bit long" over the back was about the most entertaining thing he did.
He's an ass clown.

For what it's worth, I agree with you 100 per cent.
Put the clubs in the hands of the people most likely to use them and have at it.
Who needs to hear what a (supposed) low capper has to say about what a beginner would think "feel" and "forgiveness" mean to them, and what the hell a beginner would actually do with that info (heel or toe hit for example)
Makes zero sense to me, and never has.

Not sure how many high handicap / beginner YouTube channels there are.🙄 Not sure a club manufacturer wants to see a review by some high handicap / beginner hacking it up.

I would imagine Eleven Golf would be happy seeing how these performed. Both reviewers got good trajectories, distances and were able to take a divot etc..

Haven’t seen to many full hybrid sets. You see more of hybrid iron sets ( i.e. Tour Edge, Cobra, Cleveland) than Wedgewood type hybrid sets.

Completely agree. I think this is a huge area that could be popular. A legit 15 handicap testing clubs not getting paid to do it.

I would not be putting hybrid clubs in the hands of people that hit irons quite well. They are not the users and are going to hit them extremely well. Hybrids are made for those that have trouble hitting irons, for the most part. And even then, most probably have trouble hitting a hybrid. I don't have trouble hitting them at all. I just do not hit them 'properly'.....(the distances a good player will get). And that is what they are made for. Bad hits, still go.

The Average Golfer is ~ 7 - 8 handicap. Similar review as Let’s Play Thru. He likes them. Massive thumbs up. 👍

Who cares? It's irrelevant. He has a home course handicap, is unathletic and obviously incapable of adjusting his swing to the clubs he is reviewing.
Should have been going 75% max and not trying to work it (fade it on last hole to right pin, which he failed at anyway) as that is not a shot that a beginner would/should be attempting on purpose.
Complaining about the roll out on the greens with hybrids cemented his ass clown title.

Spuzz I'd also like to ask why these clubs are only being built/tested with graphite shafts? Esp. by that fella, that normally uses all steel in his irons. Head weights should be corresponding to same iron number. So why are they using shafts that flex more and are much lighter in weight, something (no doubt) low 'cappers never use?

If I was Valuegolf, I wouldn't bother putting it on Youtube, unless he got somebody legit like Shields to give his opinion. Go big or go home I guess.

I don't give any YOU TUBE reviews ANY credence because:

Just because a club behaves for some random schmuck or a popular skilled YouTuber, doesn't mean jack shit for me or my swing
The really good players/reviewers can break par with a hockey stick, so again......see #1
The only reason anyone (IMO) views these reviews is to talk themselves into buying or to feel better about already buying.

Now get the fuck off my lawn!! 🤣🤣

Note: Aaron, I'll still be happy to demo a club for you, but I'm not sure it will help your sales. I can probably look at a picture of the head and tell if I'd like it. 😉

Massively. When 99% of it is paid off. It's no coincidence that Eleven Golf for example has 9 thousand YouTube guys that have "reviewed" them. Same with Lazarus.

Unfortunately it's a new world that way.

I bought a club from Eleven Golf. They told me they can hardly keep up with the orders.
And is it really unfortunate for someone in your position? What is the cost of sending 10 or 20 sets out to YouTube reviewers, versus the cost of reaching several hundred thousand targeted consumers in the old days?

Or you can get your marketing advice from the curmudgeons. 🙂

Thanks for the pics Aaron! They look very hittable to me. I've had success with the Power Play Select 5000, Integra iDrive hybrids and Acer XDS all the way down to the SW/LW. I'd probably like these. Aesthetically, I already like them. Honestly, I felt like I was cheating when playing them. If my swing is on or near the correct path, I can hit 7i on down with a player's cavity. I really like the hybrid irons in the 4,5,6 heads, so if you sold these individually, I'd bite.

ValueGolf I'm a non-skying hacker myself. Just can never get over the 'iron' look when at address with those metal strips showing. Had some of the Acers and put a strip of tape over it. Better. Couldn't hit them though(sole design).
