Moving to Vegas
Looks like we've found a house.

My objection is it's about a half mile from the Nellis Air Force Base runway.
Looks like a nice place. Let me know if you want to connect for a round some time.
sdandrea1 Just in case that one is Contingent...

I lived in Vegas for one year. It was the longest 20 years of my life. I worked at Painted Desert CC off of Ann Road on the West side.
azgreg Nice pictures, but not much curb appeal. Condo/townhouse??
Nellis is tough, lots of flying and numerous exercises, especially Red Flag about 3/4 times each year. Plus the Thunderbirds. Good Thunderbirds move their training around. The Drone training center used up a lot of the military airspace.

My in laws lived very close to MacDill AFB in Tampa for years. When we visited it wasn’t bad at all. You could hear the jet engines, but it wasn’t any big deal.
One benefit was when they had an air show, we had front row seats. lol

azgreg Luke is a pilot training base, lots of activity. Langley was mild back in the day. Loud now with F-22s. However, due to costs, Air Force flies much less than in my day. Nellis is busy.
My sister lives near Los Alamitos Naval A/B and when the helicopters like
the Black Hawk fly over, the whole house rumbles....I wouldn't want to live anywhere near
an airport flight path!
sdandrea1 Interesting, would not have expected that but not been around them much. I can still sit there and watch them all day long.
Langley course had a couple Par 4s back-to-back along the runway, enjoyed that sight. Winds can be tough.

I worked the driving range and club storage at the LAFB course the summers of 1964,1965. Free golf and $1.00/hour. They had 3 nine-hole tracks then. Not sure now.
sdandrea1 Had 2 18s but lost one when the hurricane went through not to far back. Never fixed it.
SMT We are just west of PD, buddy of mine lives on the course. It gets a fair amount of play. It is one of the better priced options around.
