sdandrea1 Man, that stuff just looks so classically beautiful. One day, I'm going to build up a bag of antiques and just go out and play grass-roots golf by myself. Just enjoy the feeling.
I don't think you'll find it all that much different than modern clubs. In reality, frwy woods, small CB/blade irons 6i - PW, wedges, putters are really all the same to modern. It's more about what's going on upstairs in the golfers head and the buy into equipment BS that major brands put in the heads of rec. golfers.
When you are using a 43.50" playing length 195cc wood driver how is that different than playing a modern #3 metal off the tee. It's more or less close. The COR factor really doesn't kick into effect until you are more than 100 mph SS to take advantage of technology. BUT rec. golfers are sheep and buy into what they see on TV. โบ
Like I said at 75 am I really going to add much much more distance. Probably not. I am 86 mph driver SS with a 43.50" aver. distance 190 -200 yards with roll out.
More guys that posted in this thread should put their age in the post with their known driver SS. By known I am not speaking of simulator numbers either. More simulators are off. Reality is outdoor golf on green grass with the ball you play on real distance with roll out. Golfers always over estimate. โบ
