VigilanteTrail When I was copilot, the AF gave us trainer jets (T-37) to fly during our free time to gain "experience" and went all over the NW for a couple of years. Malmstrom was an easy out and back. Two Lts and a govt gas credit card was not the wisest thing the AF did.
BTW, the Malmstrom burger was at the base Bowling Alley
Did SERE there in Jan, when they handed me two sleeping bags, I knew this was not going to be a fun time. Water survival was down south of Miami, which was nice.
