I’ve hit all 3 in question
I moved from the ke4+ tour to the max when the max came out? I’d played the tour since they came out and really liked them, but I figured newer and more forgiving = better. They weren’t for me. Maybe it’s the turf at my home course but gut couldn’t make solid consistent contact. Went to the ts2 thanks to @colej ’s suggestion and hadn’t been happier. I don’t mind the slightly thicker top line and love love love the performance, feel, trajectory, forgiveness., and gaping. I build my 9i-wedges near same length so 5* works.
I recently tried a te v4 and really like that as well. If I was buying new I’d probably go with them as I really am not a fan of the ts2 badges, the only negative for this irons imo. The te v4 def hit a bit higher, and may feel a tad softer. But not dramatic
The sti2 is a great performing iron that doesn’t feel as good. At address it looks fine but the cavity and sole are not pleasing. If you can get by the looks they are very nice irons. I’ve build several sets for economically minded 7-15 handicap friends and a few kids, and no complaints.
I have an STi 6 or 7i I could lend you to demo if interested
