The Dogfish World Wide Stout is a winner....If you are a stout lover, go find a bottle....It's 18% abv, but oh so smooth, with a sweet aftertaste, molasses like. Oh so good!
Like Whiskey ?
If it ain't Jameson you're wasting your time...
VaughnRoss wouldn't mind trying the caskmates stout edition
Wow! All this support for Scotch... Can't stand it myself. My impression of Scotch si to burn a tree at the NW edge of our course and tip it into the creek that meanders all through the course and mixes with cattle lot sewage that spills into the creek from farms upstream. At the SE corner of our course add a bit of alcohol, strain the cinders out and bottle it. You've just created Scotch. Give me Bourbon but not Jack. I like plain old Jim Beam if I drink anything but beer.
Maybe it's just me, but the Crown Royal Vanilla kicks some ass. Straight, with a few cubes of ice.
There are worse ways to spend an evening.
Yeah, Pat. It is definitely sweet. Probably why I like it.
Crown Royal straight isn't necessarily a bad deal either. Very smooth. After a weekend of binge drinking 30 years ago on a 4-day pass in Fort Benning, GA - my stomach can't tolerate anything that resembles Mr. Daniels. Just the mere odor makes me nauseous. The worst hangover ever usually lends itself to similar after-affects. lol
Canadian whiskey in general is definitely favored by my tastebuds over the domestic brands. Smoother and more palatable.

FauxAmish But, most do not know that the company who owns Buffalo Trace also owns Doctor Mcgillicuddy.
Here is a list of the Buffalo Trace labels. One is Pappy Van Winkle. There was a big stink a few years ago when barrels of this were stolen. They later found them but had to destroy them after recovery. Yeah, right.
Seems EVERYONE has an "I got sick on Southern Comfort as a kid" story! I must be the only person still drinking it. Love that stuff. Probably have some tonight since tomorrow will be a snow day.
The velvet bag is nice though, use it for a ball bag for chipping and putting.
