Rickochet I remember sitting on the couch watching that live. I was 14 Ed Sullivan had a "really big shoe." π
propman Remember watching it. I was 8 yrs old. Also, I do recall a few weeks later watching the DC5 on Sullivan and my aunt thinking they were the same musicians as the Beatles with different wigs onπ
fatshot I was a freshman in college. I had NO clue who the Beatles were, but I went down to the TV lounge in the dorm with my friends to watch it. The place was packed.....had no idea what the fuss was all about......π΅
johnnydoom Never saw a single show. Apparently my parents didnβt like it, or perhaps it was after my bedtime.
Ack8236 I might have heard it, through the amniotic fluid in my ears, if I had ears, probably not yet though.
Supp I remember it well. I was 9 years old I thought they were great. My parents thought otherwise.π
Sneakylong sdandrea1 I was 11. Saw it. Had to get a guitar after that......HAD TO! As did a lot of famous musicians. In music class everyone wanted to play the drums as I remember. The closest I ever got to playing a guitar was at 8 years old listening to the album Meet The Beatles with my cousins and pretending to play only using a tennis racket. lol
garyt1957 Pretty sure I saw it but I was 6. My sister was the big fan as she was 5 years older than me. I likie their early stuff way better than the latter.
propman Always wanted to play guitar or even drums. Unfortunately, my grammar school's band did not include guitars. There was no way in hell, my father was going to allow drums, so I settled on Coronet, smaller bro of a trumpet.
Par4QC garyt1957 π€£ We only had 2 channels and fortunately for me, my dad liked to watch Ed Sullivan. Not sure why as he was completely deaf. Don't think he got much out of that night. I do vividly recall him saying..."those damn fool girls". π€£
