LBlack14 other than the heart/lung machine you were on, not a ton of technology in that procedure. They most likely harvested a vein from your leg, the sewed it in a position that bypassed your blockages. Your own body part is the key to that procedure (and a skilled heart team) However, when you place pacing leads (wires) in three chambers of your heart, attached a cardiac device to them, then take someone who can’t get to the John without stopping to catch their breathe and allow them to resume normal daily activities and walk two miles a day without rest, that’s my technology at work. Really, really cool stuff!
