Par4QC Could be. I was thinking that was about what the entire league had, but maybe that was 90% Fever games. Edit - never mind. Looked it up and it looks like the Fever had 41 games televised in 2025 and the league had 46 national broadcasts and over another 100 cable and streaming broadcasts overall!

johnnydoom Fever may be 1 of the very few, or only team, that brought back their 'stars'. Lynx must be desperate after the players they lost.
Howard was lazy and selfish, imo. She was a bad fit at Indy.

Indy has 8 good ones now. Let's see the garbage they bring in cheaply.

Strange that Kelsey and Sophie only signed 1 year deals. Esp. Kelsey. But, I suppose it was dependent on what they are planning to do with Boston's new contract, & length.

Fever pick up another up-tempo guard in Raven Johnson. Assume her and Ty Harris means Odyssey and Aari are definitely not coming back as they have a load of ball handlers now.

Might not have room for Powers either, who became one of my favorite additions last year.

johnnydoom 😄They have taken nothing but guards in this draft. Plus they have signed(prior to the draft) 2 additional guards, for the practice/developmental squad, which they are allowed under the new contract.(do not count against CAP until put in to play/must sign them )

I think they are making sure to get their money's worth from Kelsey, more than looking for help for CC. Not going to let her get run down this season.

Par4QC If they play speed ball lots of substitutions is good. It goes against every thing I’ve seen from Stephanie White, but it sure looks like they’re gearing up for it. They took a 6’4” center in the second round with range from Vandy. Not sure, outside of Boston, where the rebounds will come from though.

Par4QC I just heard Stephanie White say that Caitlin can play on or off the ball. If she starts playing Caitlin off the ball again she's going to mess it up bad again. I thought they got Raven so they could sub her for any other guard since she can play on or off the ball. But Caitlin not being the primary ball handler at any time she's in the game is completely stupid. It's one thing if the other team's defense takes the ball out of her hand, but having the coach try to preempt it instead of planning strategies to break it down is stupid.

johnnydoom Only way that might happen is when Kelsey is off the floor and Raven will be at point, moving CC into Kelsey's spot. Raven is no shooter/scorer, at all, and if 2 people are chasing CC around the floor, someone is wide open. And Raven will get the ball in their hands. Only way I see CC 'off the ball'.
That shit last year, having her in the forward spot....jeez. Idiocy.

Can't figure Stuelke from Iowa not being picked last night. Her stats are much better than a lot of the ones taken.
But, not many blocks or 3 pointers in her career. And as a forward, only 6'2".
Bet her Mom is pissed!😄

Par4QC Her only value off the ball is as a decoy and she still gets beat up unless she just stands in the corner. Even though Raven is not a shooter, when all of the attention is on Caitlin, she can drive the basket in a similar manner that Kelsey does, with the added benefit that she's probably better at dumping the ball off to an open big while she's attacking the basket. I was surprised about Stuelke too.

We'll see how that goes in a couple weeks, with pre-season starting the 25th.
They have a committee or whatever you call it, that is changing the way refs will officiate this season, and 'teaching' them🤔. But it could be worse than before as I don't think they are going to be blowing whistles so much, if I understood it correctly. So, could be even more physical. Not sure why people want to see that.....outside of a mud pit, that is.
And I never want to see most of them in bikinis!!😲
