ValueGolf Anything is possible, but I’d put a solid bet against it ever happening, his body appears to be shot.

ValueGolf The Masters being "hilly" will add up and he'll be feeling it on the weekend, but I agree it's his best chance. Augusta has that rare quality of being gettable but still requiring precision and he still knows how to get around a course. The Open would be #2 but then if the weather is crap, which it usually is for at least a round or two, hes up against it. I don't think his body will hold up allowing enough consistency for 4 rounds!

I am a Tiger fan and would like to see him win again. But I think he needs to play more tournaments to get his competitive game back and I question his ability to do so with all of his health issues.

Many believe that he'll never "stoop" to that level. I'm not sure of my opinion yet. Depends on how badly he wants to compete.

Not sure he’ll play the Champions Tour. If he were to win again on the PGA Tour he’d probably have better luck at courses he likes.

For example he has 8 wins (out of his 82) on Torrey Pines and 8 wins at Bay Hill. The old horses for courses thing.

The "long" hitters on that tour don't win any more than the rest of them.
Straight hitters and putters win most of the time there.
He's neither of those.

Lots of things we all thought we'd never stoop to when we were younger, senior shafts, moving up tees, moving to a one story house. Time has a way of changing things. I'm sure Tiger thought he'd be competitive into his 50's. He might play a few years to keep his name out there for endorsements.

Maybe he can play enough to beat Jack's total major wins including amateur, PGA and Seniors. That might bring him some consolation. How many major Senior Tour wins did Jack have?

Edit: just checked, Jack had 8 Senior majors so that's out of the question.
