My former in-laws raised cattle. I once helped them castrate the young bulls. They ran them into a chute that held their necks and I got to hold up the tails while they did the "surgery." They would toss the nuts into a bucket then later fry them and put a white gravy over them. Supposedly a delicacy but I never had the desire to try them.
