johnnygolf there's nothing "incorrect" about it. It works for me, and I've played quite a few rounds since I was young. The video gives all the info you need to re-grip a club, nothing is left out, other than stating to not use hairspray near an open fire, which in putting faith in humanity I'd like to think is common knowledge.
That is 100% incorrect.
It doesn't show what the BEGINNER would need in the way of equipment like a vice, like a shaft clamp.....
It doesn't show or tell them where to get the tape.
It doesn't tell them about the two different sizes of tape if they were lucky enough to guess by your "tutorial".
It doesn't show or tell them how to get the grip started without cutting it on the butt of the club.
It doesn't explain or show them how long they have to accomplish the task of putting the grip on nor the drying time of your hair spray.
It doesn't show them how to set or determine if the grip is fully on.
It clearly, by your admission, didn't show them how to rid the grip of overspray.
Sorry.... I must be getting soft in my old age.
Let's just sy that your highlighted comment in this post is absolutely wrong.
