I was send a prototype of the soon to be released Pro series adjustable fairway wood. Of course, before it arrived I came down with the flu, so my review is very limited to what it looks like, and a few tepid swings in my net.
Looks: like a stouter and smaller version of the KE4 TC. Deeper face, less broad face. The sole has raised almost rails, but it sits square.
Feel: like the TC. Which means super solid. Balls popped off face. And seemed to have a low-mid trajectory, but again this is based on me in recovery from the flu hitting it in a net.
I just lent it to a friend who is a Golfworks aficionado and a very good player. I’ll post his review with mine once I get it back from him.
No idea on a) price or b) when it’ll be available, but a) more than you want it to be, and b) likely next few months

I want to post pics but the site says they are too large.

@colej

Feel free to post the pics I sent you if you can figure it out

What would estimate volume of the head to be? Close to the current TC model?

The graphics/color scheme followed suit of the TC Pro driver. Looks decent. What is the IST moniker 🤔..... similar to the ISO-T, as in titanium?

I’m gonna guess $129 for the cost. Looks nice and matches the TC Tour. I wonder how different the new fixed hosel models will be from the TC woods?

      Hi Jeff,

IST stands for Interactive Sole Technology.

      Pete

colej thanks....I think Nat said they had rails....after blowing up the sole shot, looks like the rear part of the sole has some raised runners!

I had the chance to hit it for real and let’s just say we didn’t get along. Might be the shaft might be the deeper face.
Anyway I’d be happy to send it on to someone else to try.
Same deal as before. You pay shipping then pass it on to the next in line . Eventually it goes back to Golfworks

Hey Nat - what did you low handicap friend think of it ? Thanks.

Nat might be the deeper face.

I have trouble understanding these companies and the way they are making club heads. Everyone knows.......a very low % of golfers can hit the 3wd readily off the deck, that's saying the ones that even try to. So why are they making the faces as big as the old school drivers? 3 wd is for the fw use.
And before anyone says it....I'll ask....how much better does anyone hit 3 off the tee than driver? The Pros sure as hell don't! Which makes me laugh when they pull it out on a tight hole and hit it in the trees or water.😄

FWIW, I’m a lower handicap too. 3 right now. But I’m also 60 and my driver ss is hovering around 90. So I think my issues are shaft related. This shaft feel stout

My friend loved it. No additional feedback other than he will get one once they’re released. He’s at least a flex stronger swinger than me, and he loves compact deep faced FWs.

Thanks for the update. Sounds like it is almost a BRNR competitor for the tee mostly. 🤔. How was the feel/sound ?
