After last years cry out for "equality", not surprised at the squeezed in nominations this year.
Wife was still very into this but I lost interest at the opening act. Poking fun at political event nor figure became "not so funny" at an award for art and performance.

The event is also going down hill like most other annual events.

Also, in the dead people segment, they had a producer's name...only problem is that he is still alive!

Lowest grossing movie of the year award.

The annual slide in viewership continues with 4% less than a year ago...

I never watch it. They seem to award most of the movies I didn't see or didn't like. I mean, how can they ignore greats like John Wick? Seriously? C'mon man!

We watched most of it (fast forwarded through all speeches) but didn't get to the end as we wanted to go to bed.

I am not sure why we watch (well, my wife loves the gowns and loves to watch the stars) as we have not seen a single movie that was nominated yet.

I couldn't tell you the difference between the oscars and the grammys!

A friend at work said the same thing, she just likes seeing everyone dressed up

Guess who Steve Harvey's 2 favorite White people are now?!

I'm guessing that in my entire adult lifetime, I've watched maybe 15 minutes total of the Oscars award shows.

And that's been 15 minutes of my life that I'll never get back.

The only Oscars worth watching was Oscar the Grouch on Sesame Street...great character...

Let's see if Trump can out do the Oscar screw up tonite. Trump should have paid Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway to open for him. Or maybe he should give the speech to Alex Baldwin to do!
