pellmell My only experience with Integra is a SoooLong 450 that sits square.
Someone there f'd up!!
I've never seen any head from Integra that was not closed faced. NONE!
And like I stated, and my suspicion was confirmed by 'one who knew', that the new Geek products are being made at Integra. And they are closed faced, as far as the ones I've had since the company (Geek) change of hands.
Only 'generic' heads I've come across as being square are the Acer hybrid heads. The fw, no. Even had Maltby fw heads that were stated as square-open, and they were so closed I could not hit them. But the same line of the hybrid heads are absolutely perfect.
Even the new line of SMT has closed faces; my 7 wd is a nasty bastard for going left!
I also have the newest Macgregor 7 wd. head that sits closed. But their driver head sits fairly square.
etc.,etc.........
There is always a +/- stated for allowances and foundries seem to love the - portion of the specs. For the cheap heads.
Sorry, just my experiences through the many years of building.
