Bravopilot too bad a team from the ACC gets in, could just have 7 SEC teams, 3 B1G, ND, and TT.🙃

It is gonna be interesting to see who gets picked with a year like this. IMO it's what makes the expanded playoff interesting.....because so many teams still have a chance!

Bravopilot They've had 3 wins against top 10 opponents. But will not be in the playoffs. Crazy world, NCAA football.

Par4QC won't stop the talking heads from saying they should be in. I'd take no issue with it but the things that needed to happen for them to have some sort of a chance didn't....like a bunch of teams losing, Miami, Oklahoma, BYU, etc. it will be interesting to see where they are ranked after the poll comes out.

Alabama wins, but didn’t look very good doing it. A bunch of timely penalties by Auburn to give Alabama 1st downs kept a couple of lackluster drives by Alabama going enough to get points.

johnnydoom Expect them to lose to Georgia in the SEC final, too many better teams to carry AL into the playoffs.

They will be in a bowl. Somewhere. Just not any of the big ones/main ones. Hell, they don't need the money with their backers anyway. And Manning has really been subpar this season, jmo. Not what I, and probably all others, thought we'd see.

ACC will bump a team, possibly B12 if BYU gets in with either a B12 championship or an at large selection, and not sure what happens to Bama if they lose. Those would be the questions of teams on the bubble. It sounds like one of the non power 4 conf champs get in🤔 so that will also bump a team. So for sure two teams who are not ranked top 12 will get in. That will potentially bump BYU if they don't win the B12. Possibly TT if they lose to BYU could fall. Also ND has some potential to get bumped in a BYU win over TT, and then TT falling down the rankings and bumping either ND or Bama.

Bravopilot BYU got screwed when their quarterback had a horrible ankle sprain. A lot of their offense depended on his mobility.

I still think they would have lost to Texas Tech, but it would probably have been a better game.

Tonight’s Ohio St and Indiana game is probably irrelevant. Both will likely stay in top four and get byes. Especially with Oregon ranked fifth, and Indiana having already beaten them.

Odd choice by the Ohio St. ball coach. Goes for it last possession vs. tie the game and then kicks it on this last possession🤔....curious play call on both possessions with the QB sneak and then the PA on 3rd. Hand the ball off to Jackson and go for it. BAD coaching IMO!

Overall game was as expected. At least for me. U of I win, low scoring.
Lots of defense. Only normal offense. Both teams.

Not sure how the 2 QBs are the top Heisman candidates, according to things I see in print. Must be a poor season for candidates.

Duke wins the ACC in an OT game over Virginia, thus likely putting JMU into the playoff. Crazy world.
