ode Bravopilot lol I dunno if it's faith in me or the committee🙃. Both the CBS guys had Texas #3....I think they are on ludes!
ode azgreg which is a mistake because they will almost always not be ranked in the top 12. I find that the folks.behind this all along as far as setting up the criteria to get in must make at least one critical mistake and including the g5 team is it with the new layout. It is senseless. They should only get in as an at large and hope like hell there aren't any upsets in the power conference championships to knock them further down the list.
azgreg ode The problem with that is good G5 teams struggle to get good P5 teams to play them in the regular season so it's almost impossible to climb the rankings.
propman ode they are and have mich to thank for it. Let's see if Harbaugh can light a fire under them at the half
Stu1961 azgreg Lol, heck no. I’m just saying there are grades of undefeated. I don’t think Fla St would be undefeated with an SEC schedule either. Beating BC by 2 is as bad as a loss 🤪
Stu1961 azgreg Georgia beat 8 of them … Is the committees job to identify the four best records or four best teams?
Bravopilot azgreg Think the B/U played once and go hurt. If the B/U played half the season I can then see keeping them there. NCAA Men's basketball hammers teams that lose key players regardless of record, assuming the CFP vote/bias in the same mode.
azgreg Just looked up FSU's SOS and even with LSU and Florida in the OOC it isn't great. With that being said I just don't see how you leave an undefeated P5 champ out of the CFP (assuming FSU wins tonight).
Stu1961 azgreg Their D looks good tonight (or is Louisville always this inept?), but otherwise … meh. Ugly to watch (so far), but so isn’t Michigan/Iowa. Maybe I need to take a shot with each punt?
propman Well, we can be sure of one thing. There will be a lot of upset fans after the selections are made tomorrow.
