ode propman because a loss to Iowa disqualifies them. I's not a head to head discussion it's a resume discussion.......it's the same reason why Texas may not get in over Bama as there resume would not be as good as Bamas.......but I can see the argument for Texas but not Michigan, as that would be the worst loss by any team being considered, although you could make an argument that Texas losing to Oklahoma is in the same vicinity. I think Texas is good and deserves to get in with a win today, but they are going to fall short if it goes chalk today. It's a shame too as a Texas/UGa matchup would be intriguing......last year to deal with this BS.....expansion is long overdue!
propman ode agree, expansion is long overdue. Head to head competition is indeed a criteria (there are others, of course) for getting picked. Can't see Michigan losing to Iowa but shit happens. Guess we shall find out soon.
johnnydoom Wife had to find the Texas/Ok. State game on ESPN+ for me since DirecTV is apparently feuding with the local ABC station owners. I’m thinking it wasn’t worth finding anyway as it doesn’t look like the Cowboy’s defense is present. (Just as I typed that Ewers served them an early Christmas present)
Walterjn johnnydoom I have that on right now. Earlier, I had tuned into a channel that had ND vs Miami. Turns out that was basketball, found Texas/ OKLAHOMA instead...
azgreg rsvman2 If Bama beats Georgia, Texas has a pretty strong case. Especially with the way they are destroying Oklahoma St today.
ode azgreg Oklahoma St. is too hot and cold, and they've got some bad losses this year. I do not think this win bolsters Texas resume BUT a narrow win/looking just OK would have potentially hurt them.
johnnydoom ode I think even Iowa probably could’ve put up a couple hundred yards and 4 touchdowns against that Oklahoma State first half defense.
ode Speaking of college football, currently streaming my alma mater UW Whitewater Warhawks in the d3 playoffs.......let's go🙃
Tcafla My daughter is an FSU graduate and works for the university so , GO NOLES! FYI - no idea who they are even playing today 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
propman Wouldn't be shocked bama gives the dogs a real hard time today. Saban gots to be foaming at the mouth by now.
rsvman2 I think even the back-up quarterback at FSU is injures and might not play. So they might be fielding their third-stringer. Louisville has laid a couple of eggs lately, though, so who knows.
propman I'm assuming there are some bummed out buckeye fans seeing the tx QB (Ewers) who transferred out before the 2022 season. He has passed for over 400 yds and a boatload of tds. Texas is beyond loaded at QB position.
