Yipsy 8 million for a year in college vs. taking that same risk of injury on his rookie deal at a lot less overall payout?

You didn't read the part about becoming an NFL player. That trumps money. Supposedly. If not, why did he enter draft?

I'm not even sure there was ever an offer to him, more than he was already getting, if less than that now.

Why did he enter the draft? I agree with you. He wants to be an NFL QB. I admire him chasing his dream.

He's taking a financial risk by going this route. Always a roll of the dice playing your senior season. He could elevate his stock or lower it even more.

Not sure what the QB class is projected to be the following season for the NFL draft but he's 5th-7th QB projected off the board in this draft. Maybe that's why he did it. This is a very weak QB draft class.

Quinn was well on his way to greatness and was shredding the Alabama Crimson Tide when a dirty looking hit (things happen so fast that it’s not really possible to know intent) took him out and he’s never regained the ability he displayed, but I’ve seen flashes at times and believe he’d be a pretty good risk.

Was there a time when college coaches could not make more $$ than the highest paid teacher? A friend mentioned this and I don't recall it.

Notre Dame is not the #2 team in the country that's for sure and was before this game started.

It would've been a bad look for college football if its national champion lost at home to Northern Illinois.

Alabama would've crushed Notre Dame.

It's irrelevant, but doubtful they would have "crushed" a team that beat Georgia. And yes we all know UGA was without their starting QB, but Notre Dame handled them at the line of scrimmage better than they did Penn State and Ohio State.
