After 18 months of being the best driver I’ve had since the F11, my first Sim shaft broke, then I sold the head and got a Stealth2. It was NOT an upgrade. Sold it, brought a used Sim, and, well, my second go around with the Sim has not been a success. Some is the shaft for sure- a ventus 5R, launching too high.
I went to the PGATSS to hit a few. The guy there said he and 3 others use the Aerojet, an option I didn’t consider. Well, it is the real deal. Long, forgiving, great feel. Even better, I read that the previous model, the LTDx was actually better. So thanks to a Black Friday sale and some store credit I picked one up for <$150. We’ll see how it works vs the sim with a new shaft.
