I wouldn't give up hope for the lost wedge just yet. IN my experience ( at least at my course) , 90% get reunited with their owner ( if the owner cares....see later ) . We get dozens of clubs turned in weekly. Sometimes maintenance finds them when cutting etc and they get left in one of their machines or at the maintenance barn. Sometimes, if it was left in an obscure location ( leaning up against a tree, laid in the rough/fescue well off the fairway) it might not be found for a while. We've even had people pop it in their bag intending to hand it in after the round and forgetting and so it doesn't get returned until their next visit. I've done that myself with somebody's rangefinder 🤭
Also, if the course is not far...check with the backshop staff....they tend to know where shit is moreso than clubhouse staff. I say this from experience ...I work backshop. I usually tell people to give it 3 weeks.
Crazy thing is so much stuff gets turned in and never claimed. We have a drawer full of Range finders and GPS watches, units, Bluetooth speakers . We just tossed out 4 garbage bags of headcovers and clothing, including golf shoes and probably have 200 odd clubs and 2 pull carts lol sitting there
Edit: if you must get a wedge get an Old Ping Eye 2.....I won't use anything else.
Yes the Glide eye sole is similar. Got my buddy onto that and no looking back
If it ain't broke.....
