Eguller if the shaft and grip suit you then ....yeah not bad. I'm not in the market for these type of clubs, but if I were I'd look at Sub70, the original 699/Pro can be had for ~ the same price +/- and with a plethora of grip/shaft and loft /lie options. There are others, not to mention Golfworks TS1, 2, IM.

I thought the pics of the driver looked good. Interested to see what the shaft will be in that!

I will guess most of us here are not.
Target market is OEM buyers, imo, so price is key.
People buying that kind of golf stuff at Costco have never heard of, or would consider, Sub70 et al, as I/we would.

I played the 699 Pro this season and they were excellent clubs.

If the Kirkland's are on par, they'll sell quickly!

and seeing a bargain.

I think the Costco kool aide is something altogether different, it is almost OEM like the way the customers believe the KSig product is going to be a quality product no matter what but at the Costco price. here we have a "likely" open model with their branding and suddenly walaa, a quality product, that folks are willing to buy vs. say a component or DTC, which some inherently view as interior!. DTC product but OEM following🤔. In the end it's good people aren't having to shell out 1k+ for a set!

I’m kind of struggling with this Costco stuff. Maybe I’m just crabby because of my lingering med withdrawals. 😊

This obviously is not a new ‘design’. It’s been available through multiple foundries, just from what I’ve seen, over the past 3-4 years. If it helps people get exposed to the game of golf, then great, but the attention that Costco is getting for releasing foundry model products is such a head-shaker for me.

Again, I’m just grumpy today. 😊

This exactly is the target audience. The tire kickers that see the Taylormade as too much of an investment. Plenty will see these as a bargain with the added return policy.

COSTCO got an "it" factor with the hoopla over the OG KSIG balls, putter and wedges. They're riding that wave.

A buddy of mine ordered a set right away and this was almost word for word the reasoning he had.

sdandrea1 yep the original 4 pc was very good.....and the balls since have been nothing special, with one iteration the cover separated from the other layer/s and they had to take the product off the market. I've only seen/read about serious defects like that with a prior gen Callaway chrome soft cores being off center.
