Most of my head purchases are 7-W, and the 7 is for bump and runs. Maltby gets the edge there.

Not at all. The guys I’m referring to wouldn’t be caught dead with a “no name” club, regardless of performance. You recognize the benefits of golfworks stuff.

What can you tell me about the KE4 max heads? I’m interested. I’m playing the 2014 Adams idea iron set. I didn’t care for the more normalish irons. 8-pw. For now I plugged in ping g25s 8-LW. I’d be most interested in either 8-gw possibly a 7 iron too. The Adams short irons stink. No spin or feel. Unless you like trampoline feel with huge run out. I’m wondering if they feel soft or smooth off the face? I hate hard or clicky like rocketbladez. Even my callaway rogues feel like they are coming off a bat. Just need normal results off my scoring irons. Are these a good option?

I played these for about a month. They are large in appearance, with a wide sole. They feel great. Very forgiving, nice trajectory. Ive recommended them to higher hndcp players. For me they were too bulky - I’ve played these ts2 since and love them. But the Max are top quality and do perform

bigshank they are very good. I would put them in that Ping G category as far as forgiveness and size go and for 17/4 feel quite good.

colej Hit the STi2 7 iron and it’s a solid club that goes high and straight. I could easily put these in play.

After finally making it to the range for a 45 min session earlier today after my nephews Lacrosse game I will offer my concurrence with your comments above Jeff.

Brought along the STi2 Gen 2 (8 iron) w/LogicalOne 85S graphite that I built up. Could definitely bag a full set of these irons based on the performance today…won’t kick my TS3’s outta the bag but this club did surprise me a bit…felt better than expected and distance/dispersion was just fine

I just built a set of the STi Gen 2 irons for my buddy. They look very nice and a marked improvement over the Gen 1 irons, looks wise.

That's what's in my bag...Went back to my original Ping Eye 2's - grabbed the 7-8-9 and cleaned them up and re-shafted with geezer flex Ping graphite shafts. Shots, at least on range, are high and straight - the way I like them...Expect the same when the weather finally lets me get to the course...
