Martee My BP can jump 50 points from the beginning of the visit to the end. In part liquid intake effect BP I'm told. I am amazed how much variance can happen been readings.
Yup! Regardless of what doctor I'm going to see - whether my GP, Oncologist, or even Dentist, my BP is always high upon arrival. Over many visits and during my 3 week inpatient stay during 2017, I'd ask nurses, docs, PA's etc... to give me 2 minutes and then re-do my BP. With 2 minutes of deep breathing I can lower both diastolic and systolic numbers by 20-30 points each.
