sdandrea1 What clubs care you taking to the scramble?
Long story but it’s a combo set of P770 and MC with MMT 125 shafts and midsize cp2 wraps… brand new🙄.
So at my fitting the other day my boss wants to order me clubs. So I said ok, P7TW 4-PW with MMT 125 s, -1/4”, midsize tour velvets. He puts it in, the 9 iron shaft is unavailable until November so they hold up the whole set. So we didn’t order them.
The pro where we were doing the fittings calls me over and says “you’re old boss Mike is having me ship a set of irons to him in Utah, he planned on selling them and it’s that’s shaft but the MC/770 combo are you interested? They’re at my house. So I said yeah, ask him how much. Yada yada, I offer him $600 and he says sold. The pro was pissed because Mike told him $1000.
The pro asked if I was using them or flipping them because he’d give me $750. I told him if I didn’t like them I’d sell them to him for what I paid, $600…. He’s a great guy.
I’ll still order the TW irons to have but might go Ctaper 115x softstepped since that works for me as well.
