Larryd3 Sparky I sent my irons back to PXG to get shortened 1/2" and reweighted and the price was very reasonable and they returned them quickly. So you might consider going that route, at least call up PXG customer service and see what they suggest and prices. I'd suggest calling instead of playing email tag with them, much quicker and I think the info I received on the phone was better.
Sparky Larryd3 Good idea, thanks. I don't mind doing clubwork myself, but those PXG collared ferrules are a pain both in clubhead removal and in installation. Whoever came up with collared ferrules must have also been the guy who designed tiny little pockets inside of big pockets. I hate that guy.
Cwing My wedges are 54* & 56*. What kind of distance gaps you guys seeing on the course given how strong the PXG gap wedge loft is?
Sparky Cwing What kind of distance gaps you guys seeing on the course given how strong the PXG gap wedge loft is? 42* PW goes 125-130 48* GW goes 110 54* wedge goes 95 58* wedge goes nuts (I don't hit that one full, it never works)
bigshank Sparky Mine are similar to yours Pxg GW- 115 Cleveland 52 -100 Cleveland 56- 85 Cleveland 60- haha same I use it for bunkers and higher shots that require it. Seldomly use it over 30 yards out from fear of a missle strike to my score card
bigshank Cwing 5-gw for the pxgs. 52,56,60 Cleveland Cbx2 Cally paradym driver Epic flash hybrid 19 degrees
Sparky Cwing For me.... Driver, 3w, 19h, 22h, 5i-gw, 54, 58. I think my 3h, 4h and 5i gaps may be a little too close though.
bigshank Sparky I also have the 0211 #4 hybrid which is a great club. But, it was the same loft as the 5 iron. That’s why I switched it out for epic flash hybrid. It was easily 15 yards longer than the Pxg hybrid. I’m thinking about using it instead of the 5 iron. Now I’m looking for a good 3 wood this off season
