As the dust settles and factions with no intention of really being factions form, I notice this site took some criticism from one of the longtime regulars from the mothership.
Just curious what you like and don't like with GolfBuzz vs. new/old mothership?
The shot taken at this site was that it was all jumbled on the front page even though there's a link bank to the right where you can select whatever forum you desire. I'm good with what we have here for the front page because it's displaying the most recently commented/started topics regardless of forum.
One of my favorite improvements, here, is there is no moderator forum where mods are PM'ing me niceties and befriending me while diagnosing me with mental disorders behind my back. 🙂
What do you like/dislike?
EDIT: I also like the JRock has presence here. If you need him, he's very responsive and can and will actually make improvements. It's like buying a new cell phone and feeling confident the company you bought from is going to be sending frequent updates to your phone whereas maybe elsewhere you're kind of stuck with what you bought. Also, the fact that there's no reputation counter here is a huge plus. What are we...kindergarten kids? Reputation is flat out RIDICULOUS for adults. Heck, I don't even like the like feature. That's too facebooky for me and tied too much to the reputation concept I abhor. Oh, of course, I abhor it...I would have one of the lowest. 🙂
