DonM Two problems with the long putter market are that there isn’t much to choose

            sdandrea1 The Lab is the 460cc titanium and carbon driver and all those old ones are the 1960s Northwestern laminated drivers. Poor head designs. Plus you can’t find good stout shafts any more for component builds. I’ve been down this road.

                    DonM Down to 50 players......that can all hit well past 300. It's not just about Rory.

                    I doubt any of them can hit the fw. 😂

                      For me it's probably in the range of driver, 7w, and 7i if I hit them all well.

                          Provided I hit 3 fantastic shots, I MIGHT make it to the green with driver, 3 wood, & 8 iron... one little screw up and I'm not making par...be lucky to make double...
                          Now, am I going to try to hit those 3 fantastic shots? Oh fuck yeah!!!

                          For me it would require a perfect drive, perfect 17.5 degree fairway wood (I'm tired of calling it a 5 wood even though Ping does), and a perfect 17.5 degree fairway wood. But in all likelihood, my perfect drive wouldn't reach the fairway and so the reality is that it is a minimum of four shots for me to get to the green.
