---MGS thinks not. You?
Personally, I love JDM stuff. I do find it superior. Perhaps, it is all in my head but I've had great experiences with equipment from there vs. here. Perhaps, I've just been able to find great deals on JDM stuff and have been able to acquire it more easily than high priced OEM? My TourStage driver is incredible as well as my Akira and Fourteen hybrids. I loved the S Yard set I once owned as well as the Yonex set of graphite/iron fusion I once owned. Those are at the top of my list for all the irons I ever played.
For me, I'm going to guess the shafts have everything to do with that and not necessarily the heads themselves. The JDM is softer flex, I believe, and that just feels better to me. A regular flex OEM shaft feels too whippy for me on irons, but a stiff in JDM seems just right for me. I've also loved Zevo z1 and Cobra CB's ... Zevo had run of the mill TT's in them that were just a tad stiff and the Cobra's had some Black Gold's that I absolutely loved. Have another set of Cobras with Rifle 5.5's and those were pretty sweet also.
Are JDM shafts superior? OR...is it just my personal preference?
