Saw these posted on the other forum and took a peak or two at em on Golfworks. They look good, IMO, better than any of the other offerings that have been released, but I'm partial to cavity backs! And some front edge/sole relief vs. the OG is very much welcome (unless you like a sharp leeding edge). ⛳

They are gone again from the site. Why do they keep doing that? Put em up, take em down, wtf!

I’ve always wished the TE style would be offered in a progressive set. I never tried the MPC back in its day, but I did own the Golfsmith Tour Cavity Pros … and thought they were pretty close to perfect (mid iron transition never felt quite right - always felt more like a Combo set. I loved the long irons and 9 through lob wedge). I still have a set of 2-LW heads, barely used, lying around in a box somewhere, lol. Anyway, it just seems the TE design would lend itself, fairly easily, to a progressive set.

I was planning on building a set of TS3 at some point, but then I saw these and now I'm torn. They have so many appealing iron models now I can't decide.

KCee Other than appearances there does not seem to be much difference between the TE+ and TS3.

Well now they have my attention, I always loved the TEs/M-05 model, but needed a softer leading edge, this might be something to give a spin.

DonM True it's a bit surprising they developed 2 models that appear so similar. I know there is tungsten forged into the TS3, but otherwise the specs are fairly close. I'm not going to complain though.

DC300 Well now they have my attention, I always loved the TEs/M-05 model, but needed a softer leading edge, this might be something to give a spin.

I always found the TE Forged to have an excellent sole design......nice rounded relief. Is this one different? I'm betting it's not $29.95 per. Lofts are stronger!

DC300 but needed a softer leading edge

I play my TE's loft 1° week and I really like the way they get through the turf.

The TE+ has slight changes in addition to loft and lie, like wider sole, longer blade length, less heel height and higher cog.

azgreg they aren’t “bad” per say, I tried for years to kick them out of the bag and couldn’t, but they aren’t quite what I want. Maybe I just need to admit I suck and buy real GI irons, I seem to get along better with a more rounded edge.

I've played the TEs and the black PTMs (still trying to sell the heads). Liked them all but with advancing age found my consistency was going in the wrong direction.
Tried the sti2 irons and now play the ke4 max irons with graphite shafts. Just what the doctor ordered.👍

Anyone interested in the sti2 irons, lmk. Willing to sell them as well. They are mated with the Maltby pro series shafts (r flex).
