So from my little world view I'd say social media was bout 70-30 anti LIV, and I mean militantly anti LIV. So, unless the vast majority of them are major hypocrites I would expect to see PGA Tour TV ratings to plummet by about 70%. We'll see.

Yeah, my older sister was mega-anti LIV. Can't wait to see her rationalization on continuing to watch PGA Tour. I could not convince her that competition can help any industry. Monopolies get stale, bloated, bureaucratic, and obsolete.

We need a poll to ask them who their employers were/are? And where do they think their pension monies may be invested.

But, like someone said of Monahan .....if you make the statement with the facts presented to you at the time of the statement, and then a different set of facts are presented down the road and you change your statement.....you are not a hypocrite. But people are going to say you are.

PGA & John Deere just yesterday signed a new 3 year deal. For tournament & equipment.

I think you need to look longer term than that. Emotions will be running high and it will be easy to boycott an upcoming tournament. I'm thinking next years Memorial to this years for an honest assessment

There is no merger, the war is over.

Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia (PIF-Yasir Al-Rumayyan) will be funding the 3 major tours from a new global commercial entity (also chaired by Yasir Al-Rumayyan): LIV (Greg Norman), PGA (Jay Monahan) and DP World Tour (Keith Pelley).

LIV, PGA Tour and DP World tour will keep their formats.

All players can switch tours (if they qualify) without penalties like it was already between PGA and DP World Tour
LIV players will be getting world ranking points; be elligible for Ryder Cup
PGA players and DP World Tour players will be allowed to wear shorts
