rockett Rickochet I read the noise was from a small plane that was flying over the course in circles. They even showed the flight path on a map. The droning made me mad, in how would the USGA not stop it?

DonM Just seems really boring. Which isn’t uncommon for a US Open. The course setup would be unplayable without marshals, crowd, and cameras to find balls in the rough.
