Buddy is a Travel member at Olympia Fields, outside of Chicago, and we meet there often to play. They have a hard caddie fee of $100 plus tip, plus the min is a forecaddie regardless of the size of the group. Forecaddie is $100 plus tip. We go with Forecaddie and pay $125 since the group can be hard to take at times. Makes for an expensive round for my like. We play the cheaper 18 at $100 with a $25 cart fee plus Forecaddie. The Championship course, one played by LPGA/PGA, is $150 plus a slightly higher cart fee--as if a different cartπ
Still old fashion club, no hats inside, men's only main bar--strictly enforced. But fairly cheap rooms and fairly cheap breakfast. Nothing else is cheap. No cash accepted, except Caddie/Forecaddie--cash only, settled immediately on the final green--does make the last hole slow to play when folks don't know the unwritten rule of payment.
