So I went to the range last Thursday. It's a dome with Top Tracer. So I normally warm up with partial wedges. Shank, shank, shank, dribbler, WTF? Probably hit 20 balls and couldn't get one in the air. Just about to quit but I decide to hit some drivers. Not bad, nothing great. I go back to irons and I'm simply striping it. I'm changing holes on the Top Tracer and I'm hitting green after green of every distance! Best I've hit them in ages. How does this shit happen?
So I go back today, feeling really good. Start with the warm up, shank, shank, shank, weak liner, dribbler! Probably another 25 balls and nothing in the air. So I grab my 6 hybrid which I swing differently then irons. Immediately hit some nice decent shots, huh? So I hit some hybrids, Fw's and then go back to irons. Pure, pure, and pure. I go on to hit 8 of every 10 greens and the misses are just a little long, an occasional pull. I've said for at least the last couple years that I haven't truly flushed an iron. These all felt flush. Picked up a club's distance too. IF I can hit the irons like this when I get on the course this is going to be a good year. If I hit them like I start I may kill myself. I hate golf.
