Smart guy not carrying a 3 wood. I always suggest a 5 wood/7 wood set up to customers. Most of them are too stubborn to give up the 3 wood that they show me they can’t hit🙄.

Typhoon today's 5 wood is really a 4w🙃. And with the magic sleeve it could well be a 3w. What does TMag call a 5w😎

ode Our standard 5 wood is still a 5 wood loft. With new tech it does go further than a 5 wood from 15 years ago amd it easy to hit. A better option for most over the 3 wood that you hit clean 1 out of 5 shots.

The Stealth Plus 5 wood is the bomb. Loft sleeve and moveable weight make it a no brainer to buy… worth the extra money over the standard one. I took one, turned the loft down to 16 and moved the weight more forward and was hitting it 3 wood distances. I then went with the extreme opposite settings and it was like a 7 wood.

I don't care how adjustable a club is I can overcome it with my inconsistent swing unless it's built short and heavy like me!

Typhoon l like 3w off a peg at 5w length and weight. Off the deck 15 * is pushing it but if I hit it well it works. 16-17 * a bit more reasonable off the deck but I rarely hit 3w off the deck. My 19 * hybrid works there....can get 210+ depending on conditions!

Exactly!!! You’d rather have the consistency over hitting one on the green and other 6 in trouble with a 15 degree 3 wood!👍👍

I carry a 3-wood but I have notices that like am pulling the 5-wood out in its place more and more often.

My 5-wood is oldish-school technology and is fitted with a shaft that shouldn't work for me at all (extra stiff, and my driver swingspeed is maybe 94 with a smooth transition). For whatever reason, this club works perfectly. It doesn't make any sense, but ball don't lie.
