I'm the flip side playing a new set this year first one in quite a few years. I am stay the course kinda guy. It will get better, glass half full.

scotts33 I very seldom take the same set of irons out 2 times in a row. Even drivers. Only clubs that seem to never change are my hybrids and fw clubs. I'll play a different putter or 2...or 3 during the season, but always go back to my Ping G5i.
I seldom even play the same ball.

I don't get paid for this shit, so I enjoy myself. There is coming a (financial) day when this all ends though. 😩

ode I might buy a head to test out at some point. I played a set of blades years ago and was surprised how well I did with them. Didn't change my score at all. They did sting more when it was cold out though.

I like the look of the Sub 70 639 MB Plus since they have some progressive offset and are a bit larger. Most blades look a bit small to my eye.

scotts33 I think these are goo free.....ts1-im on other hand are not. Agreed re same scores all else being equal. These appeal more to me then the TS1, TS1-im, and ts2. Prefer a solid piece of metal. I try to avoid sharp leading edges and shallow face woods/hybrids, after that just let me out on the course and I'm content. Had a meeting north of Luxemburg last night and the skies cleared up so I stopped at Northbrook and touched em all. Beautiful little course!

Par4QC I think the allure is clean lines, generous blade size, yet a blade. Supposed.ti be an updated MMB-17, more turf friendly sole!....of.course the twats on WRX complained about the paintfill of the M on the backside of the blade/on their prior models (red/black) and got their wish.
