Jerry told me this was being posted this afternoon on YouTube.

Colt Knost and Drew Stolz have Jerry Kelly on Golf Subpar.

Thanks....love Jerry, and in true Wisco style brings something to drink to the interview 🙃. 🥂

ode Actually most of the Subpar podcast episodes when done in studio they are always having a beer or some type of drinks. That's the norm.

I thought Jerry brought out some interesting tidbits on LIV and a few other topics. His wife Carol had cancer so he is really hitting colon cancer hard which is good to see with his sponsor Cologuard/Exact Sciences from our area.

scotts33 cool.....did not know that about sp, first time watching it, it was well done, although I think having JK on makes that easy! Did not realize he was a rook with TW! They are not that far apart in age.....but in my mind TW seems quite a bit younger!

There is so much more to golf than Tiger but everyone seems to think it starts and ends with Woods. That's more or less why there are Tiger haters kinda like Yankee haters. ☺

scotts33 lol yeah he's pretty much a non factor at this point IMO.....it was cool to here about his association with him back when they were on tour together.

KCee Jerry is very very young.....same age as me

Yep 56. Tiger 47 but both to PGA around same time. Jerry went to Univ. of Hartford on a hockey scholarship graduated in 1989 made it to the PGA in 1996 played on mini tours Sun Tour etc.

What's impressive about Jerry is he is a blue collar guy East Side Madison workadaddy neighborhood as is Stricker Edgerton, WI. Note in podcast Jerry said I take care of my own finances and always have and know what it takes to make it and make a comfortable situation for my family. Jerry does not a have a team.

I skipped over that part because IDGAF.
                😉

He was at UHa when I was there after I transferred in from UConn. I didn't play golf then, but IIRC he played both golf and hockey until they cancelled the hockey program. Tim Petrovic was supposed to be the most likely to succeed, but Jerry did better IMO. They did have some good golfers back then which seems odd for a small school in New England.

Jerry is fun to talk to and follow. Hockey players tend to make good golfers. The feeling of slap shots and wristers translates well to delivering a golf club it would seem. 🤔

Was a great episode and reinforced what most of us thought, Jerry Kelly is a great guy.

Did anyone listen to the episode with DJ Trajan? Definitely different and eye opening.
