DonM It's because of the swing method you employ.
To explain, how a golfer swings and their stats. will allow different usage of equipment. So what works for one may not work for another. That's why generally I post my stats or G'Buzzers know enough about certain members to equate to what they have as a game. No apples to apples thing here.
In general most equipment manufacturers bring closed face angle, draw biased metal woods to market to help slicers. I haven't checked the face angle n the LTDx Max at std. 12 deg. on my loft/lie gauge but it appears to be a slight (less than 1 deg. probably .05 deg.) closed face angle not the large closed 2 deg. and more. So, I am not using the LTDx the way a slicer would use it. The draw bias for me comes from slight head weighting and the tip soft shaft profile of the UST Helium Nanocore with my mid-release, right side of fairway alignment and allowing the shaft to respond to my smoother swing. My driver transition time is 1.4 seconds.
What works for me probably won't work for everyone. There are enough settings adjustments of the LTDx Max head to change the situation for most golfers if you know what you are doing plus shaft changes. I tried it at -1.0 knocking loft down to 11* but I find I like it best at 12* std. I also adjust tee height for that use. I very rarely hear of anyone speak of tee height. At below 90 mph SS I need more spin not less. Another factor most don't know or talk about. Std. and LS heads are for those with higher swing speeds and late releases.
