Typhoon I'm like Steve with the trying of clubs. But it's got to the point where it's a waste of time & money.
Ex.: I had the Cobra Darkspeed LS, and it was a great driver, best at that point in time. I got rid of it and got something else. Since I got rid of it, I've been wondering (many times now) how the Darkspeed X would be. For $550 I'll not be finding out. Even next year when they will be $249, I'll probably still pass.

I'm expecting to hit puberty in another year, going through this growing up phase. 😲

I bought all the models of the Cobra Ltdx - the standard Cobra Ltdx, the LS and the Max. I still haven’t tried the Max, lol. I get way too much spin on my shots, so my initial purchase was the LS. Then I read how the standard Ltdx was the unicorn, so I found one online and got that too. Then after loving the feel of them I bought a Max with a missing weight for a good price. I play my driver at 43.75 or 44 so a head with multiple weights is almost essential.

I got my Cobra LTDx Max 12* for $173 shipped off of Amazon last week but I see there must be a run going on....on them as they went up to $199. Cobra Aerojet Max's are $249. It seems pricing can fluctuate as numbers drop on availability and/or popularity of sales.

12* Std setting, she's a keeper. Nice high tight draws very repeatable great forgiveness. The UST Mamiya Helium Nanocore "A" shaft at OOB playing length matches up really well. I need to set alignment up to right side of fairway and hit a good draw with std. setting neutral grip with slightly lower tee height than the average. All drives today left middle of fairway. If one is a golfer that understands how to align and use the more roll and distance a draw gives a senior...the LTDx Max is as good as anything. Just match up shaft.

I started to ask this very question many times (is anyone seeing a draw bias on the course), but decided to keep quiet in order to save me some money. What I don't know can't cost me.
Crap!
To get a draw again off the tee, yardage gain, would be the only reason I would buy a driver now.
A few reviewers have designated this driver, and AeroJet, as having the most draw potential.......with the correct setup and weighting distribution.
Ltdx Max or AeroJet Max???? 😭

I’m still not convinced of that. Lately because of an improving swing, I can play a draw. Versus a a straight ball or minor fade, I get the same distances. Some of my career best shots are small fades. Today a the right driver can be matched to a fade. For me it comes down to which swing gives me the best speed and contact.

All that said, I’m finding the draw swing to be more consistent and better all around. So long as I don’t have a draw biased driver. Because then I get big misses left.

potbunker I know that a few PGA pro's that don't have a contract that stipulates equipment usage (in other words have a few clubs that aren't what they play in most of their set) do use the Aerojet std. or LS versions in fairway. I figure there must be a reason. Robert MacIntyre mainly Titleist being one. https://www.2ndswing.com/blog/post/robert-macintyres-winning-bag-2024-rbc-canadian-open-witb Though we can't generate that kind of clubhead speed nor have that kind of late release to use a a LS version Still Cobra has something going on in their metal woods. I thought last week when I got an LTDx Max for $173 shipped it was to good a deal to pass up after I hit a buddies a number of times. It certainly isn't a band aid to fix everything. I am a smoother swinging senior that can play a fade or draw fairly well when my game is on and that's just from lengthy golf age experience.
