Typhoon Sarnella sdandrea1 Well it looks like we are getting there. Raggman - $15 sdandrea1 - $12 me - $13 TOTAL = $40 Iβll throw in $20β¦ want to be a major shareholder in this endeavor.
Bravopilot Sarnella Okay, I'm in and since still working, I'll match the total for $60. I want to drive the mower a few times without supervision. Will ask for forgiveness post-mowingπ.
Typhoon 2-3 more guys and we can approach the committee at Augusta National! AZgreg seems to be a Twitter addict, he should tweet that the forum is putting together a bid!ππ Butβ¦ all weβll get are more Asian Spammers
mulegolf Eguller Between you and Rex, I think we have enough tools. Did you just call them tools? π
mulegolf Typhoon Walter as Greenskeeper. I'll give Walter some advise if/when he needs it. I was a greenskeeper for a few years at our local course. I also worked on the course mowing the rough when I had time.
mulegolf sdandrea1 So, are we buying a golf course or not? My $12 is ready to go. Lets look for a course somewhere in the middle of the country so it's easier for all of us to get there, maybe in the south central area so we could play almost all year round. Any courses for sale in southern Arkansas or Mississippi? Maybe eastern Oklahoma or western Tennessee? By the way, I'll kick in $50.
fatshot Sarnella " I could chip in $10 bucks to the cause.....oh what the hell....$$ TWENTY...!!!!π" Don't forget me....! I got in on the ground floor....!!!
mulegolf I was just thinking.... Just a few more bucks and we can transfer this to the What did you buy today section.
Par4QC Eguller Now there's a thought! "Pitiful, but likeable, golf forum group (non-profit from all appearances) needs help funding unwanted golf course."
sdandrea1 Let's start a 5013C. Non-profit golf course. We can pay each other exhorbanant salaries to ensure there's no profit.
raggmann54 I can be a part time chef and also work in the repair/pro shop - amateur cook and had a small repair club fitting shop in the '90's and early 2000's till I decided the public is stupid...I'm easy, but not cheap, which goes along with Non-Profit business plan of high salaries and low service...
mulegolf raggmann54 work in the repair/pro shop I think we will not be short of guys who can/would work in the club repair shop. I had a small business making and repairing clubs for over 20 years and I know there are others here who have had/still have club fitting and building businesses. I'd bet we'd have enough people that we could man that shop with a different guy every day of the week and maybe every day of the fortnight.
sdandrea1 Eguller We just need the right investors - like Madoff/Santos George Santos has already claimed credit for starting this venture. π€£π
