Bankshot Picked up a set of SE Viper Tours 3 thru A wedge at my local Salvation Army with Rifle SST Pure graphite shafts. I've been wanting to try graphite iron shafts and this makes for a cheap experiment. Anyone know anything about these?
LBlack14 Junk, send them to me for proper disposal. The "Pure" is a process. Rex (Par4QC) has played these I believe.
raggmann54 SST Pure is a spine alignment process developed by Dick Weiss and licensed for use by clubmakers. Was used by Golfsmith when they existed.
Bankshot Mattyv You're more than welcome to em, Matt. They've definitely been played but no big uglies. How about $26 shipped?
Mattyv Bankshot Can you send me a couple of pics so i can make sure they are the ones i am thinking of. A picture of the back of the club head should be fine. mvierthaler12@yahoo.com Thanks
Bankshot Hoss7504 No, not gonna mess with those. My back up set are Cleveland CG4's on Apollo Humps. I might pull those or look for something else.
shokosugi I believe they are 75g shafts with similar playing characteristics to their steel counterparts
HybridWood From the 2006 GS catalog, both the R and S flex are listed as 2.9° torque, 74 g weight, mid trajectory, 2.75" parallel tip section, 0.605" butt diameter. They appear to have been sold as a set with separate availability for a 2-iron and wedge.
Bankshot HybridWood Thanks, Hy, and thanks to everyone who chimed in. I'm just going to leave em shafted up for now and hit em in the spring. That's the only way to really find out how I like them anyway. Thanks again everybody! 🙂
