Par4QC pellmell Had a set. Sold them. Built another set, played a round, then gave to my son, who still swears by them. Built a set last summer. Sold them in the Fall. Built me another set that I still have. Specs have all been great. (I did have 1 6I head that was only 260) And they play like the best OEM money can buy. Bar none, imo.
sdandrea1 pellmell I'm going to drill the inside bottom of the hosel. Start with ⅛ bit then ¼. How much room is there before bore-thru happens?
pellmell sdandrea1 It's around 3/4". I can safely drill 1/2" hole using a 1/4" bit to remove a little over 3 grams.
ode I think these are very similar profile to the Pros...blade length, sole width, offset, loft, etc., More of MB vs. the Pro being a CB. I've wanted to get a set for quite some time but🤔
ode pellmell that's what I recall about the pros.....there was a smidge of rounding on the leading edge, but the extra bounce helped! That's the shot I like to see what the sole is all about down the line of the toe to heel either in the playing position or upside down.....thank you!
sdandrea1 ode What will you do to recreate the seating point for the shaft or will that not be an issue? If he center drills a .370 hosel with a 1/4" bit, there should still be a bottom "shelf" remaining. A small one (.370 - .250. = .120).
