If EUR players like Victor Hovland (OWGR 11), Thomas Pieters (OWGR 34) and Thomas Perrez (OWGR 60) do not make it in the top 100 it can't be called a world ranking.

    Not disagreeing that it's golf.

Just disagreeing that doing well in LIV doesn't predict doing exactly as well on PGA tour (or vice versa)
It's not an apples to apples comparison.

UnholyDefenestrator78 so just because someone plays on a different tour, and a few holes less than the PGA they shouldn't be included in world golf rankings?? What's next remove the European tour, or dp tour?? Where does it stop?
Or do we just "crown" tiger as king of golf even though he is no longer exactly competitive?? Shall we "crown" rory as #2 king even though he hasn't won much in the last 8 years???
Pretty sure that S.I. can/ and has come up with a metric to compare PGA to LIV....

Can't have it both ways : excluding players in PGA because they are competing in a rival tour and not giving them OWGR points. Without OWGR points LIV is just exhibition golf and you can't exclude 'independent contractors' from competing in the PGA because they play a couple of exhibition matches. Wheter they do so for charity or big money is not the isue here.

And SI isn't giving them the same points as full field PGA events... which is perfectly fair and logical.
