backinit I regripped a friend's set of irons recently. Personally, I can't stand having this much crap in the grooves.
Par4QC backinit Welp....guess that answers my question as to why we need more than 6 grooves on an iron head! ๐
KCee backinit I think many people treat their clubs like they would the shovel in their shed. I've regripped a lot peoples clubs and 9/10 are given to me in in that condition. No one would even notice I cleaned them.
Spuzz KCee I think many people treat their clubs like they would the shovel in their shed It amazes me that I see dirty clubs in for sale ads. :/
raggmann54 Spuzz It amazes me that I see dirty clubs in for sale ads. Golf Galaxy here in Western Pennsylvania puts filthy trade-in clubs on the rack for sale. The prices they want for them you would think they would at least clean them up a little.
darpar We had a guy in our league play clubs that made the one posted by the OP look like it was spotless! ๐ฎ And he was one of the best ball strikers I golfed with. BTW, clean grooves do influence spin a bunch.
bogeypro I found a wedge on-course a few years ago and the entire face was so clogged with dirt and grass I couldn't see a single groove, I was fortunate to be able to identify it as right-handed ๐
