I have my Stealth 2 demo stuff. I’m NOT a big 3 wood guy anymore since the standard shaft length has been lengthened. When I fit people I suggest going 5 amd 7 wood bs. The old 3 and 5 wood.
The Stealth 2 Plus Fairway woods are a huge upgrade this year and I wanted to put them through the paces. The 5 wood especially. So ii took the 5 wood and hit it fine. Then I adjusted it to get it close to a 3 wood. I went down from 18 to 16 degrees and moved the sliding sole weight to the front close to the face and squared the face up more so it looked great.
It works… I still sucked with the 3 wood but hit this adjusted combo as far as the 3 wood but more consistent. A person could actually carry 2 Stealth 2 plus 5 woods on their bags. One that plays like a 3 wood and one that plays like a 5/6 wood. Even the 7 wood could be like a 5 wood now.
I really liked it, a lot of guys here it would be a no-go but I just thought maybe some of you that see these new designs would be interested in how they actually work. A lot of overlap but the shorter shaft rules.
All that being said, a Stealth2 5 wood goes in my bag this year
