Typhoon Basically only really good for catastrophic events. I think it was 3 years ago my youngest had gallbladder surgery. 1.5 years later the company was sold. We dodged a bullet there. If things are not financially challenging enough.

Typhoon I'm the same way.
Years ago my appendix ruptured about the time they got me on the table.
I thought it was the flu for 3 days.

Walterjn Hit some drives on the Sim at around 90% and the shoulder was fine. If I press on my rotator cuff spot on my shoulder it is still a little tender but it’s getting there. Hit great irons this morning. Loving the P7 TW irons.

[deleted] Buffalo Trace is a good one to keep around for 'maintenance whiskey'. I've been able to find it pretty easily around the Phoenix area lately. All Buffalo Trace products were impossible to find in Iowa a couple of years ago when I was still living there. I tend to like Eagle Rare a bit better than Buffalo Trace.

d5n03 Buffalo Trace is about the top of the heap for me. For the most part I try to look for palatable bottles in the $20 range.

Benchmark (which is Buffalo Trace juice), Very Old Barton BIB are in that range and easier to find.

CallMeAl Benchmark is around...I've never seen Very Old Barton in any form in the NE.
The bottle of Buffalo Trace that I picked up is the first one that I've seen in a store. I liked Ezra Brooks, but it's been discontinued and the closest to that is the Ezra 99 which I haven't tried.

I find in my area Canadian Whiskey is more popular.

CallMeAl Benchmark (which is Buffalo Trace juice), Very Old Barton BIB are in that range and easier to find.

Before Buffalo Trace came to town the distillery made Ancient Age. Then I guess it was purchased by the people who own Buffalo Trace. Ancient Age was a very popular bourbon locally and decently priced. I did drink a little Ancient Age years ago mixed with 7 up. It had a nice flavor but had a bit of a "bite." Years later a bud who was always an AA drinker switched to Benchmark. I tried it and it had that AA flavor I liked but didn't have the bite.

I like the Benchmark Full Proof or Single Barrel. Similar profile to the Buffalo Trace.

Very Old Barton is a low budget banger! Especially the BIB.

So last week and the week before we were at Sandals all inclusive hotel in the Bahamas. I noticed that nobody there was drunk and all you do is drink all day. I’m talking 10-12 drinks a day and never felt “off”…. Same with my friend Jim and anybody you saw walking around there
