I purchased a good Japanese whisky from Costco over ten years ago, The Yamazaki 12, for $45. Now a bottle sells for $200+. Wish I had purchased more at the time.

I've been to the taproom several times but the beer was flat. Lucky grocery has better beer, is closer to me and t has two Dust Bowl beers on tap, The Therapist 10.5% IPA and Peace, Love and Haze. Speaking of dangerous, a few years ago, Lucky was serving pints of 14% Barley Wine.

pellmell Therapist is solid for sure. Get out to Turlock for lunch sometime (on a really nice afternoon) and try the Dump Truck.
That sucks that the tap room beers were flat. Not a good way to run a tap room, especially in a city with good brewery options.

Bravopilot I’ve taken a couple weeks off from the gym and just today hit a few irons since fucking up my right shoulder. I know the rotator cuff was affected and God knows what else but resting it has done wonders. Tomorrow at indoor golf I’ll hit again for awhile but today it was fine.

Typhoon Nice. Tore my left rotator cuff a few years back, while waiting my turn for surgery, COVID hit. Never had it fixed but mush better now with limits. Now right shoulder is fouled. Ortho said "ruptured" not heard that before. Trying the non-surgical approach again. Getting better but can't lift stuff and can almost raise my arm again over my head. This aging crap is for Geezers.

Many years ago I was a Tournament Tennis player.

I was in a doubles match, on match point when I hit a serve. After the first serve, I couldn't lift my arm....

Pulled the Michael Chang and hit an underhanded serve to win the match!

Never hit another ball... Pulled my labrum from the socket and tore 3 rotator cuffs completely.

After surgery, I asked the Doctor if I could play tennis...He said sure...see you in a year.

I was done and took up golf. 3 pins in my shoulder but I get by. 🤞

That’s what scared me was after it happened I couldn’t raise my arm past parallel. It seemed like I hyperextended it but, I’m no doctor. Couldn’t get into a throwing motion either.

So a couple days later it was getting better, and now almost 2 weeks later my range of motion is fine. Throwing motion is much better, that should be fine soon.

CallMeAl Like Rex was saying , I have to be near death to go to the doctor other than a physical and dermatologist. The insurance is nice to have but the out of pocket is stupid.

Typhoon Basically only really good for catastrophic events. I think it was 3 years ago my youngest had gallbladder surgery. 1.5 years later the company was sold. We dodged a bullet there. If things are not financially challenging enough.

Years ago my appendix ruptured about the time they got me on the table.
I thought it was the flu for 3 days.

Walterjn Hit some drives on the Sim at around 90% and the shoulder was fine. If I press on my rotator cuff spot on my shoulder it is still a little tender but it’s getting there. Hit great irons this morning. Loving the P7 TW irons.
