johnnydoom Have done this exact thing, same place, house boat rental, with two fellow AF buds late 80's timeframe. Fun place. We showed up with $23 between us thinking the place would accept our checks as we were AF Capt pilot types, little did we know those types were not widely trusted by houseboat rental firms. Worked out.
