Sarnella Just finished my last homemade October fest beer. Maybe have an Irish stout that turned out fantastic later.
LBlack14 Tonight, something different.... Crown and Coors Light, by the pool!! Had a new liner put in a couple weeks ago. Not totally ready, still waiting for a color changing light to be installed in the deep end. It won't be in for 3 weeks. Oh well....
ode This- Eclipse - Mexican Chocolate (2021) Eclipse - Mexican Chocolate (2021) Stout - Imperial 10.3% ABV FiftyFifty Brewing Co. IFYKYK. Aged in rye barrels Followed by this- Twenty Five - Variant Twenty Five - Variant Stout - Imperial 12.7% ABV Central Waters Brewing Company blended bourbon barrel aged stout with Door County cherries and cocoa nibs. Dark and rich, with a tantalizing chocolate cherry nose, Twenty Five represents our commitment to barrel aged excellence. Toast with us on our silver anniversary! Das vedanya🙃
ode Sarnella they both were very good....anytime I see Mexican Chocolate on a taplist I must give it a try. Good spice as it warmed up. The CW 25 anniversary variant was so good. The chocolate and cherry were subtle but there and the barrel aging in this one was on point, nice charred oak👍. CW are the very best at barrel aging and they releasing different variants every month during there anniversary year. Lucky to have got a nip of this one as it's hard to come by!
backinit This morning at 4:00 a.m. I have a coffee with cream only and a Kirkland sports drink going.
fatshot We drink 50/50 coffee with cream in the morning. The rest of the day I either drink bottled water or my latest favorite, Diet Arnold Palmer iced tea. A beer every week or two when we order pizza.....gin and tonic or a margarita if we're dining out.
johnnydoom A latte made by the new coffee gadget at the office. It is very heavy on the milk substance and light on the coffee substance and actually tastes pretty good.
Walterjn Currently, drip coffee, cream and sugar. After that Arizona Arnold Palmer, or bottled water. If I do it right the water will have some fresh lime juice...
KCee Drinking a lot this morning: electrolyte drink, 2 cups black coffee and a protein shake. My inside salesperson (who does 90% of the work) just gave notice so I will be drinking something much stronger tonight ☹
mulegolf I've been drinking Coors beer lately (since Costco has been selling it cheaply). I can remember in the 1960's and 1970's when you couldn't buy it in Minnesota, we all wanted it (same with Olympia). After it became available here we drank a lot of it but we gradually drifted away from it. Now I kind of like it again (until Costco doesn't have it cheap anymore). I do wish that we could get Rainier here though. I really liked that beer in the 70's. I worked at a mobile home factory and had friends that trucked the homes to dealers around the country and they would bring it back for me when they went to the NW part of the country. I liked the way it was packaged too. In a case the six packs were individually sealed in plastic so the cans were always nice and clean.
gllama mulegolf Way back in the late 1970’s and early1980’s, I worked a few miles away from the Rainier brewery in Seattle. Everyone drank Rainier back then and loved their tv commercials: Raaaainieeeer Beeeeer! You guys in the Midwest and East Coast probably have no idea what I’m talking about. If Walt Longmire drank Rainier beer, it must be good!
propman mulegolf In Illinois in the 70s, it was same thing. We couldn't wait to get our hands on Coors and Olympia. Actually, imo, Olympia flat out sucked.
Bravopilot mulegolf They had goofy commercials too back when I lived in Spokane. Sorry, missed the comment above
