ode Beautifully designed 431 carbon steel
431 carbon steel feels soft. My Ping ie-1 head are 431 and they feel like forged… really nice feel. I mentioned the Takomo irons before… they look really nice, have a few head style options which is nice. Poor shaft selection but the option to buy just the heads is great.
My only bad thought is you could get an oem set maybe 2 years old , same tech for the same price. The Takomo, like most components don’t hold their value. In 2 years they’ll be $12 shipped.
